The women’s reserve team is VJS and it plays in the women’s First Division (Ykkönen). Both of these affiliate clubs have teams all the way from minors to seniors, and recreational teams as well.

ORIGINATING FROM VYBORG

The roots of PK-35 Vantaa date back to 1935 and the city of Vyborg, where 36 footballers came together at the club’s inaugural meeting. This meeting held on 19th September 1935 elected to name the club Vyborg Football Club, or ViPK.

The club’s operations resumed in Vyborg all the way to the year 1939, at which time the club was disbanded because of the war. Operations were reinstated in Helsinki in 1948 and the club’s name was changed to Pallokerho-35 ry.

ENDING UP IN VANTAA

The men’s and women’s first teams migrated to Vantaa for the 2009 season. Since then the team’s operations have gone on in the embrace of Myyrmäki Stadium under the name of PK-35 Vantaa.

The women’s team has won three Finnish Women’s League championships and three national cups. It has also made the round of 32 in the UEFA Women’s Champions League every year that it has competed in it. The men’s team’s best achievement so far is promotion to Veikkausliiga after the last season.

The club’s goal is to consolidate itself as one of Finland’s leading football clubs and to offer players a career path all the way from the minors to the first teams. PK-35 Vantaa provides excellent year-round training conditions not only for the youth already playing for PK-35 and VJS, but also for other young footballers from Vantaa and those who possess a red and black heart.
