PK-35 Vantaa is a football club dedicated to women’s football. The women’s team competes for the Finnish championship in the Women’s League (Naisten Liiga). PK-35’s affiliate clubs are PK-35 (500 members) and Vantaan Jalkapalloseura (1500 members).

The roots of PK-35 Vantaa date back to 1935 and the city of Vyborg, where 36 footballers came together at the club’s inaugural meeting. This meeting held on 19th September 1935 elected to name the club Vyborg Football Club, or ViPK.

The club’s operations resumed in Vyborg all the way to the year 1939, at which time the club was disbanded because of the war. Operations were reinstated in Helsinki in 1948 and the club’s name was changed to Pallokerho-35 ry.

The men’s and women’s first teams migrated to Vantaa for the 2009 season. Since then the team’s operations have gone on in the embrace of Myyrmäki Stadium under the name of PK-35 Vantaa.

The women’s team has won six Finnish Women’s League championships and four national cups. It has also made the round of 32 in the UEFA Women’s Champions League every year that it has competed in it. The men’s teams operation ended after 2016 season.

The club’s goal is to consolidate itself as one of Finland’s leading football clubs in women’s football and to offer players a career path all the way from the minors to the first teams. PK-35 Vantaa provides excellent year-round training conditions not only for the youth already playing for PK-35 and VJS, but also for other young footballers from Vantaa and those who possess a red and black heart.
